Born into the automotive industry, Mike, Mitch and Brad Trotman grew up around their father George Trotman’s Langley Chrysler dealership, learning the ropes at a young age.
Each brother ventured off for a formal education before returning to Langley, driven for change. Since day one, they have always had a passion for doing things differently, with purpose, and with process.
They implemented Chrysler’s first quality assurance program, setting the bar for how a dealership should operate. From there, they continued to innovate around one simple idea: to be leaders in the community and automotive industry.
The brothers have always focused on helping their staff achieve excellence. Nowhere is this more evident than in TAG University; a comprehensive online and in-classroom Learning Academy focused on improving the skills and capacity of all team members. This initiative was created by the brothers and utilizes some of the Canada’s top educators.
As well as investing in its people, the Trotmans are equally committed to Process. Constantly innovating, the Trotman Auto Group has been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies as well as the recipient of the 2016 CADA Laureate Award, which is the highest recognition a dealership can receive.
